Flavors of Memory
Memories are the foundation for our perception of the world. By creating from the subconscious mind, I am documenting my navigation of memory and identity. The human psyche is a delicate playground and how we internalize our interactions determines how we remember life. I find the most peace balancing on the line between reality and make believe, while simultaneously comforting my inner child. I enjoy creating surreal imagery that does not have to belong to one culture, gender, or person, but transcends the physical world entirely. Food has always had a remarkable way of overcoming these boundaries. I’ve come to realize that it is not just about sustenance; food is a language of its own, capable of communicating emotions, memories, and stories.
